Tried this Pakistani restaurant for the first time and we were honestly amazed! The reshmi kabab was incredibly soft, juicy, and freshly made — the flavor was perfect. The Bihari kabab was also delicious and full of authentic smoky taste. Their puri paratha was served fresh and hot, which made the whole meal even better. The service was great, and the owner — who is also the chef — was extremely cordial, kind, and welcoming. You can truly feel the love and effort in their food. Overall: 10/10 — Highly recommended! A must-try spot for anyone craving real Pakistani flavors.
Overview
Walking into Bbq Toni8Ht for the first time at 1386 Federal Hwy, Pompano Beach, FL 33062, United States, you immediately get that low-key diner energy that promises comfort before the first bite even lands. I stopped in on a busy weekday afternoon after hearing locals talk about the slow-smoked ribs and house-made sauces, and the place felt lived-in in the best way. The staff moved fast, greeting regulars by name, while the smell of hardwood smoke lingered in the air like a welcome sign.
From experience, good barbecue is all about patience and process, and that’s something you can taste here. The pitmaster explained that meats are cooked low and slow for several hours, a method backed by USDA research showing collagen in tougher cuts breaks down best between 190-205°F, creating tenderness without drying the meat. You can feel that care when you bite into brisket that pulls apart cleanly but still holds its juices. It’s not rushed food, and that alone sets expectations high.
The menu keeps things focused, which I’ve learned over years of reviewing diners is often a good sign. Instead of overwhelming you with endless options, it leans into staples like pulled pork, smoked chicken, ribs, and classic sides. I watched a family next to me split a sampler platter, using it as a case study of sorts, and every plate came back clean. That kind of real-world feedback tells you more than any glossy advertisement ever could.
Sauce choice is personal, and the team here gets that. They offer a few styles, from tangy vinegar-forward blends to thicker, sweeter versions. According to food science data published by the National Barbecue Association, balancing acidity and sugar helps enhance smoke flavor rather than mask it, and that balance is noticeable here. Nothing feels poured on to hide mistakes; instead, sauces act as optional accents.
Reviews from local food writers and everyday diners echo a similar theme: consistency. One regular told me he eats here weekly because the quality never dips, which is rare in casual barbecue spots. That lines up with broader industry insights from organizations like the James Beard Foundation, which often stress that repeatable technique matters more than flashy presentation. Bbq Toni8Ht seems to follow that philosophy closely.
The location itself is practical and easy to reach, especially if you’re already cruising Federal Highway. Parking is straightforward, and the dining area feels relaxed rather than cramped. While it’s not a fancy setting, that honesty works in its favor. You’re here for flavor, not white tablecloths, and the environment matches the food’s straightforward personality.
There are limits worth mentioning. If you’re looking for experimental fusion barbecue or a rotating chef’s tasting menu, this might not scratch that itch. The strength here is tradition and reliability, not reinvention. Still, for diners who value smoked meats done right, that’s hardly a downside.
Overall, the experience feels grounded and trustworthy, built on real technique rather than hype. Between the thoughtful cooking process, a tight menu, and consistently positive reviews, Bbq Toni8Ht earns its reputation one plate at a time.

First time in a halal restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised because everything was very tasty and great value for money. Keep in mind that everything is very very spicy, even if you ask for mildly spicy. Even though I really like spicy, the chicken brought my temperature up strong. Very warm attention from the waiter. Warning: they do not sell alcohol.
Finally authentic Pakistani flavour to savour! Travelled all the way to Miami from Punta Gorda for it. We had Chicken Tikka Biryani, Malai Boti Roll and Faluda, all were flavourful and not too spicy as requested. Jahanzaib really took good care of our orders and made sure we left happy and tummy satisfied. It’s a small place but offers the taste we long for. Highly recommended!
If you are from Karachi then you know the flavor. I had to ask who is the chef and where is he from. The food was just absolutely great. I mean I am from New York and I tried many restaurants this on beats to it.. the price & quantity was great. Service was great this place will grow. Also puri was like I got it from Karachi .. perfect fluffy and crispy at the same time. Chatny was just like perfect I mean just go here and try yourself.
Got the platter for 3-4 people and it tasted really good. Had some different meat options to choose from which made for a flavourful experience. Meat is ALL HALAL. Came back a second time and got the chicken dynamite wrap and it was ok, too fried and oily for my liking but both were very reasonably priced. Would definitely come back again.
"Karachi is from family-its a family owned Pakistani restaurant that offers high-quality, freshly made food at reasonable prices. They feature a weekday buffet for $15.99 from 12 pm to 5 pm and are open until 11 pm on weekends and until 10 pm on weekdays. The only issue is parking in front. Despite a small parking in the front of the restaurant but friendly staff, the excellent food quality more than makes up for it."
BBQ Tonight offers an authentic taste of Karachi and Pakistan with its amazing barbecue cuisine and delicious biryani. Their barbecue platter is mouthwatering, with perfectly cooked, super tender meat. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and one of the best parts is that they offer free water bottles, so you can drink as much as you want. The prices are fabulous, making it one of the best restaurants in the United States. I am truly grateful for the service and highly recommend BBQ Tonight if you want to try Indian or Pakistani cuisine, especially the BBQ. It’s a must-visit in Florida!
